OUR HISTORY
Since 2009 the process of Independent Commercial Agent of Resins and Plastic and Petrochemical inputs of recognized brands worldwide in the ASIA region and USA begins. Only in 2014, based on the experience and knowledge acquired in the market, AV Plastics Trade SAS was born with the objective of being a reliable company in the timely supply of resins for the processing industry in the plastics sector. By 2019 the company becomes the leader in the import and marketing of Expandable Polystyrene (EPS) in Colombia. Its momentum and permanence in the market is based on its passion for service as well as its flexibility in a changing environment in which the supply must be guaranteed constantly as a promise of value. AV Plastics Trade S.A.S. is a reliable company in the timely supply of resins for the plastic processing industry in Colombia LEADER in the segment of Expandable Polystyrene (EPS) known in our country as functional Icopor; we seek to add value to each of our customers, hence our commitment to be More than a supplier, Your Ally,generating answers through a large stock of inventories, with speed, efficiency and quality for decision making or incursion into new markets or projects of our customers.
CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSABILITY
In 2019 we are part of the Environmental Chamber of Plasticsrepresentative guild of the Colombian plastics industry and we were part of the group of businessmen who helped to form the Sector Chapter for Expandable Polystyrene Expandiblewhich represents the industry of Functional Icopor in the country and develops initiatives that respond to the needs of the Sector. In the Chamber we are convinced of responsible relations with society and the environment. We believe that by working together with actors such as the government, academia, industry, the media and society in general, we can make the right decisions that lead to sustainable solutions that benefit the environment.
We are also part of the Environmental Responsibility Collective - CORA, since 2019, which is a collective focused on supporting producers to comply with resolution 1407/2018.
